Meet the President

Hi, I’m Denise Washburn… For those that don’t know me….let me share my story. I have always had a love or the Ford Mustang. It has been my dream car since I was 12 years old. “Lucy” is a1966 Candy Apple Red Mustang Coupe that my husband gave me for our 20th wedding anniversary. AND, then he took me to Ford Nationals at Carlisle. I was sitting at Gate 3 watching the cars roll in…and here comes one yellow Mustang after another, they seemed to go on forever, every shade of yellow Ford every used, from butter to so yellow it hurt your eyes yellow! I turned to Bill and said, “Someone needs to do this with RED!” AND, he laughed at me…and two months later I found RMR! Lucy quickly became RMR #732. I’ve been a member of RMR ever since. But, Lucy can be a bit of a cantankerous redhead…and isn’t all that easy to drive. AND, Since Mustangs seem to be like potato chips, (you can’t just have one) Ethel came to live with us. Ethel is a 2003 RedFire V6; Ethel is RMR #5803. Summer of 2024 I added Mustang #3 {whispering…she isn’t red}! Hazel is a 2007 Alloy Metallic GT Convertible.
